There are 3
sources of coach education available to you for improving
your coaching skills and knowledge.
1. SGSC Coach
Clinics
Coaches from our
league's competitive club will deliver coach
clinics which are designed to be simple and practical.
Each clinic is
focused on providing coaches training relevant to the age
group they
will be coaching.
Each clinic is
three hours on the field. At the beginning of the
clinic, you will receive a packet of session plans that you
can use all season. During the clinic, we will simply
go through as many session plans as we can so you can see
how to set them up and understand the coaching points.
There are three
clinics:
-
U6/U8
Coach Clinic
-
U10 Coach
Clinic
-
U12+ Coach
Clinic
Please sign up so
that that we can have enough materials on hand to give out.

2.
"Soccer Rule" - Sierra Gold Coach Clinic
For those coaches
who perhaps are not very familiar with the rules of soccer,
we have a clinic put on by one of our experienced coaches to
help you get acquainted with the rules. This is a short one
hour clinic indoors.
