All Sierra Gold Soccer Club recreation head coaches will be required to obtain
an EDYSL Diploma for the age group they will be coaching.
To
register for a EDYSL Coach Diploma course: Please visit the
EDYSL Coach Course Registration
webpage. Fill out the online form, pick the class, and click
SUBMIT. (if the course is not listed yet, please check back
later).
All training (regardless of type) is paid for by the club.

Please note the following

All diploma courses will run continuously and will
have a working lunch. Candidates should bring plenty of
refreshments, snacks and as well as a packed lunch.

Classroom Session
§
candidates will be expected to take notes and
therefore need to bring writing materials with them
o
Field Sessions
§
Candidates will be expected to participate in field
sessions and therefore should wear appropriate sports clothing.
Cleats and shin pads are not necessary.
§
Each candidate will need to bring a soccer ball
(inflated)
§
Candidates are advised to bring a chair.

MODEL TRAINING SESSION CLINICS
These clinics are actual training sessions delivered by an Academy
Coach with a team from the host club. Although not mandatory,
we strongly recommend that coaches go to the Model Training Session
for their age group after completing the EDYSL Diploma course for
their age group. |
