Sierra Gold Soccer Club is currently looking for new referees, adults as well as youths, for the upcoming season, which starts in September.

 

If you are recently certified, and have not been contacted by the Sierra Gold referee coordinator, you should sent him an e-mail at the address mentioned at the bottom of this page.

To become a Referee you must:

       1)  Be a minimum of 12 years of age, and in at least 7th grade.
       2)  You must attend all 5 evening classes of a USSF Referee Course.
       3)  You must be willing to study the "Laws of the Game" outside of the class.
       4)  You must pass (75%) on a 100 question entry level examination.

Prior knowledge of Soccer is useful, but not necessary.  Referees are reimbursed for their time when performing their duties on the field.
