Although tryouts are a month early, the program is still the same.  Teams will likely start practices in June as usual.  If you are new to select, check out the links above for more information.

 

TRYOUTS ARE ON, RAIN OR SHINE

 

Tryout Location: Herbert Green Middle School (3781 Forni Rd. Placerville)

• Tryout Procedure: To be eligible for a Select (class 3) team, each player must comply with the following:

  • To be eligible to play for a club’s team, the player must attend a minimum of 1 tryout at that club.
  • Players must wear safe, appropriate attire, and equipment.  Do not wear Select/Competitive uniforms.
  • Players must bring a ball of the correct size, plus drinking water. 
  • Players should arrive at least 15 minutes prior to the advertised start time to check in.
   
• All players must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian to sign the necessary consent and medical authorization, as required by CYSA North.

Registration:

If you are chosen for a select team, you will be required to go to a team registration meeting in February, where we will collect your registration.

 

If you are not chosen for a Select team you should attend one of the registration events for your club so you may get onto a Recreational soccer team in your area.  Sierra Gold patrons should see our Registration page for more information.
