Registration for Recreation Soccer

Registration for Recreation soccer has begun!  Please visit the Registration page for additional dates and instructions.  New for 2008 is the option to register online (additional fee req'd).

 

Summer Soccer Camp

There are numerous opportunities coming up for SGS players to get a jump on the 2008 season and get some solid well prepared training/experience/exercise this summer.  These programs are organized by Global Soccer Solutions and will take place in Placerville.

U8 Play Date - FREE! - May 17th @ 3pm @ Indian Creek School.  No registration required ... come on down!

 

Summer Camp for U6 thru U15 - $99/player - 5 days - 3 hours/day - choose from one of three sessions : June 16-20, July 7-11, July 28-Aug 1 : more info

 

4V4 Jamboree for U8 thru U10 - $50/player - Oct. 14th : more info

Kids Expo 2008 is a success

Our club volunteers were out in force at Kids Expo 2008 held at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds in Placerville on April 12th.  Fun games, a spin-wheel for free prizes as well as some fundraising made for some good clean fun, and a chance for club exposure to new players too.

 Next Board Meeting

 

The SGS Board of Directors will meet on Thursday, May 22nd at 7pm.  Parents are encouraged to become an active participant in Placerville area youth soccer, by attending Board meetings.  For more information on how you can help, visit the Get Involved webpage.  We presently have two openings on the Board; Special Services Coordinator & Field Maintenance Manager.

 TOPSoccer Program

 

We introduced TOPSoccer in 2006, and it was met with great enthusiasm, and became an instant success.  In 2007, we created a permanent Board position expressly for coordinating TOPSoccer events and participants, and the number of player participants doubled.  More fun for TOPSoccer is in store for 2008 - don't miss out!
