SGSC is committed to supporting all our coaches for our recreation and comp soccer programs with education and training to advance their coaching abilities. SGSC is a member of CalNorth and NorCal soccer organizations that regularly host and subsidize coach training and licensing available to ALL our coaches.

Why not have fun and make a difference in your child's life by volunteering your time and coaching his/her team? We will provide you free training! Do you want to apply to coach or assistant coach a Recreational Soccer Team? Then read on!

Once registered, you will see 4 action items on your profile within GotSport. Click 'More Info' to complete the tasks. All items must be complete to be assigned to a team.
SGSC has initiated a new procedure to allocate first choice of a practice slot based on the date of your coach registration. Instead of a lottery at the coach meeting as in years past, the order of practice slot is the order in which coaches have registered. After all coaches have selected their first choice, coaches will then be given the chance to select a second slot in the same order.
Coaches are required to attend our preseason Coach Meeting! We'll make it worth your while.
